Currently focussing on mining operational optimisation and geology, they are seeking principal level engineers with experience throughout the mining industry. Candidates with a history of working with contractors, mining houses, exploration companies and consultancies are encouraged to bring their well rounded experience to this progressive firm. In this position, you will be part of a small team of principals who set the direction of the firm, identifying areas of opportunity and building the business in those areas.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Mining with 15 years experience in technical consulting, operations and management
- Thorough understanding of open cut and underground mining techniques
- Ability to draw on industry contacts to increase awareness of the business, offering the firms products and services
- Ability to manage teams of technical specialists whist project managing multiple projects
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high quality technical advice to clients throughout the mining industry
- Develop new business in your areas of interest using existing industry contacts
- Build and develop your area of business, increasing head count where necessary
- Support the firms existing direction
