We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Engineer with a background in Transport Economics to work in one of Australia's most prestigious Traffic and Transport groups based in Melbourne. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills by working on larger and more complex projects and working with and being mentored by some of Australia's best consultants. Our client is a well known multi-disciplinary consultancy and they are seeking your expertise in Transport Engineering and Economics. With the influx of new projects, there is now a requirement to grow their team, so if you are a motivated individual with this rare blend of skills I am interested in talking to you. Skills & Experience: - A solid background in Traffic and Transport Engineering, Transport Modelling or Transport Planning.
- A working knowledge of Transportation economics including cost-benefit analysis, financial forecasting, economic assessment etc.
- Experience in a Melbourne based engineering consultancy will be highly regarded.
- An ability to identify innovative solutions to complex issues that may arise in the transport sector.
- Ability to prepare and review reports associated with multi-disciplinary transportation projects.
Responsibilities: The Transport Engineer / Economist will be part of the consulting division and will be responsible for assisting in the management and delivery of a range of Transportation projects to both the public and private sectors.
