Due to increasing workload on healthcare, infrastructure and specialist commercial building projects there is an opportunity to join the building services team within this well known consultancy. With a strong focus on environmentally sustainable design, their project portfolio also includes educational, laboratory, institutional and residential building projects for both private and public clients.
Employed as a Senior or Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will be using your experience and technical ability to complete engineering analysis and design of mechanical systems for new building projects. Using your exceptional communication and presentation skills coupled with your technical expertise you will solve mechanical design problems in a team of highly skilled professionals.
As the successful candidate you will have: - A recognised Mechanical Engineering degree or qualification
- Circa 8 - 10 + years experience working as a Mechanical Engineer within a building services consulting environment
- Extensive experience working on technical building projects including strong knowledge of local codes and standards
- Previous experience in ESD highly desirable as is proficiency in AutoCAD
- Solid understanding of healthcare, infrastructure and data centre buildings codes and standards preferable
- Excellent communication with the ability to integrate well into an existing team
