An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen in a municipality located West Victoria for a highly motivated, career driven, successful Senior Urban Planner to join a small and enthusiastic young team.
As a senior member of the Statutory Planning team you will be responsible for a range of complex planning applications from residential, to commercial and industrial developments. You will be working with developers, neighbouring councils and other council departments on a range of zoning issues and other subdivision issues.
The municipal will be looking for a planner who is very passionate about Urban Planning that can demonstrate exceptional customer service. Ideally, the successful planner would have at least 5 years experience with a sound knowledge of the Planning Scheme (including State and Local policies) where he or she can use these skills in picking up planning applications at various stages and completing these in a timely manner.
